Our History
The first meeting to establish a pistol club on the Hornsby range took place in 1991 and after a lot of planning and hard work the first shooting match was conducted in 1993. Ku-Ring-Gai Pistol Club was incorporated in 1993, by a group of shooting enthusiasts who were interested in extending their skills and interest into other areas of shooting. That enthusiasm remains and is plainly evident in each of our members.
From the humble beginnings and with only a handful of members, Ku-Ring-Gai Pistol Club now has in excess of 100 members which includes several lady and junior shooters, several associate members and a group of up to twenty regular visitors.
